Soviet-born rocker Nash Albert drops mountain-made epic Kingdom Of Love
Tracked high in Georgia’s Caucasus Mountains and finished by Tim Palmer and Bob Ludwig, Kingdom Of Love fuses Georgian choirs with fist-pumping classic-rock hooks—stream lead single “Around The Sun” now and dive into our full ABR interview.

In the Caucasus foothills, where the air is thin and every sound seems to echo a little longer, Georgian singer-guitarist Nash Albert tracked the album he calls his “most experimental yet.” Kingdom Of Love (out now on Think Like A Key Music) blends Soviet-era folk DNA with hook-laden rock swagger, and we’ve pulled the juiciest quotes from Albert’s brand-new Aldora Britain Records interview to give you the lay of the land before you press play.
“From Soviet folk to rock-and-roll rebel”
That’s how Aldora Britain sums up Albert’s trajectory, and it’s hard to argue: born in the USSR, raised on Beatles bootlegs, and now crafting widescreen guitar anthems in Tbilisi’s thriving underground scene.
“This album is very special to me. It was recorded in Georgia in the mountain studio SVAS. It contains a lot of experiments merging Georgian root feeling with rock and roll.” — Nash Albert
Tim Palmer (Pearl Jam, Bowie) handled the mixes, while mastering legend Bob Ludwig put on the finishing sheen — credentials that explain why the record punches far above most indie releases.
Pandemic reflections, balcony whisky & cosmic choruses
Lead single “Professor Steiner’s Trip” was born “on the balcony of a seaside home, drinking whisky and talking about life, politics, and politicians” as 2020’s chaos unfolded.
Follow-up “Around The Sun” doubles down on optimism: “People should love, protect, and care for each other,” Albert says, “which seems to be increasingly forgotten nowadays.”
Cue the soaring chorus, a Georgian choir, and guitars that glint like sunlight off snow-peaked ridges.
The worldview behind the riffs
Asked about his enduring muse, Albert doesn’t hesitate: “Life! My biggest inspiration is life and all its complications.”
It’s the same restless curiosity that pushed him to haul vintage amps up a mountain road and track with traditional lutes and duduks beside towering stacks of Marshalls.
