ROBERT CALLENDER shares “Autumn” from upcoming “Rainbow: The Anniversary Concert” live album and concert film

Think Like A Key Music’s landmark release, Rainbow: The Anniversary Concert, arrives November 14, 2025—and today, Robert Callender shares “Autumn,” captured live in technicolor at the Timucua Arts Foundation in Orlando. The performance brings his 1968 psychedelic grail Rainbow to the stage for the first time, with strings, sitar, tabla, and a full ensemble translating the album’s East‑meets‑West raga‑rock vision into a living ceremony.

“Autumn” channels the album’s intimate melodic thread, performed by Callender and Golden Flower and the Fernwood String Quartet. The concert film included on the CD/DVD edition captures the complete performance with candid reflections from Callender on stage talking about the origins of Rainbow and its long journey from cult favorite.

About Rainbow: The Anniversary Concert
Conceived in 1968 under the name Bobby Callender, Rainbow fused Eastern raga textures with Western psychedelic rock, featuring New York session luminaries and sitarist Colin Walcott and pianist Paul Harris. Long a cult grail, Rainbow had never been performed in full—until this Orlando concert brought the cycle to life, transforming studio myth into a living ritual. Looking ahead, additional anniversary shows are planned for New York, across the U.S., and Europe in 2026.
